Priorities

The following list of Trustees’ preferred areas of support does not cover every charitable project the Trust funds but is intended to convey our main priorities:

  • Older people (particularly the vulnerable and isolated)
  • People with disabilities, mental health problems and/or learning difficulties
  • Children and young people
  • Family support work
  • Victims/survivors of domestic and sexual abuse
  • Those recovering from substance misuse
  • Prevention and rehabilitation of offenders
  • Carers
  • Village halls and community centres
  • Improving access to services for rural communities
  • Information and support services for charities
  • The Arts and Music in the community (primarily as a medium for personal development)
  • Local, amateur sporting organisations and uniformed groups (scouts, guides, etc)
