Priorities

The following list of Trustees’ preferred areas of support does not cover every charitable project the Trust funds but is intended to convey our main priorities:

  • Older people (particularly the vulnerable and isolated)
  • People with disabilities, mental health needs and/or learning difficulties
  • Children and young people (particularly the most disadvantaged)
  • Family support work
  • Victims/survivors of domestic and sexual abuse
  • Those recovering from substance misuse
  • Prevention and rehabilitation of offenders
  • Carers
  • Village halls and community centres
  • Improving access to services for rural communities
  • Voluntary sector infrastructure and support
  • Arts and sports projects where the primary objective is community benefit or the support of vulnerable groups
  • Young people’s uniformed groups
